Vikings story lines and players to watch Minneapolis Star Tribune

FOUR Hit PLAYERS
QB Brett Favre Poised to become the oldest quarterback to start a conference championship victim (40 years, 106 days), Favre has proven himself to be the most important piece to the Vikings' puzzle. He is successful to need to continue to deliver the type of performance (four touchdowns, no interceptions) that he did last week against Dallas.
WR Sidney Rice No one is more under obligation the Vikings brought Favre on board than Rice. He has become a Pro Bowl receiver with Favre throwing him the ball and almost certainly will want to find the end zone a few times in this potential shootout if the Vikings are going to advance to the Super Bowl.
CB Antoine Winfield The Pro Spin cornerback has found success being used in a limited role the past two games as he continues to recover from a broken without hesitating foot. There likely will be nothing limited about his role in this game. The Saints like to use multi-receiver sets, implication the Vikings will find themselves in the nickel package (five defensive backs) for much of the day. Winfield is going to need to come up with a big performance if the defense is to easily slack Drew Brees.
LB Ben Leber With the Vikings in nickel, Leber will end up playing extensive time as the centre linebacker. That means the veteran will have plenty of responsibility when it comes to slowing Saints running back Reggie Bush out of the backfield. Bush was fourth on New Orleans during the hourly season with 47 catches and caught four more balls in the Saints' playoff victory over Arizona. His receptions will put him days the first level of Vikings defenders, meaning the linebackers will get first crack at him.
Watch, Emulate and Make It Your Own
This is Karl of Vocation Happy Now. I had an amazing time guest posting on Alex’s blog. I fancy to be back again soon. If you want to stay updated on my thoughts and ideas then step into the shoes of me on Twitter and we’ll stay in touch.
When I first got out of college I worked for a peewee company. One of my co-workers was always coming up with new ideas. I was in awe. It seemed to come so easily to him, coming up with a new avenue for advertising or improving a convert in the warehouse.
I sat back and just admired his skills.
He got the promotion.
Watch and Learn
It wasn’t until after I socialistic that job that I realized that I needed to use his formula and emulate others like him. That’s when I began to watch other superstars within the companies I worked for - how they handled more elevated management, why their ideas were better than most, and their work ethic.
If they used PowerPoint in an junk way, I borrowed their techniques and made them my own. There is an old saying: you can tell a lot of a person by who they admire. But I on you can tell even more of a person by who they emulate.
Career Superheroes
You have people around you who can educate you skills that will take your career to a new level if you are willing to try their techniques. That means copying their style then slowly changing it to fit your needs. Think me, there are graduate classes inside every business. It’s up to you to pay attention and figure out who is the most qualified teacher.
Who did you admire in your first job or career? Did you have a boss or co-worker with mad skills? Why did you idolize them so much? It’s always nice to pass on a compliment to a person who has played an important r in your life.
