Timex Easy-to-Set Electronic Timer

Timex Easy-to-Set Electronic TimerCharacter Review: Fab timer!

We have this timer at work. We use it to turn the water cooler/combo hot bottled water on and off at the beginning and end of each shift. This is not your grandmother's timer. It lets you set the time to turn things on and off and when we got hit by a terminate thunderstorm mine froze up for a while. Once the battery ran down, however, I was able to recharge it and it worked marvellous. Not that's reliable if you ask me.

Customer Review: Totally EASY!

I love things that streamline my hectic life and this great little timer does just that - up it in, set the time you want power on, set the time you want power off and you are done in less than 2 minutes!

How does voltage-current surge and/or magnetic flux affect an electronic timer? This is rather possible, as a coil of wire (your transformer) will have a negative current (reverse of its innovative direction) flowing through it after a voltage is applied and then removed. This creates a high voltage which can hurt the circuit. This typically taken care of (in relays - another device that is basically a helix of wire) with a suppressor diode. This diode will give a place for the current to go, in preference to of damaging your circuit with high voltage.

How can I buy Racing Pigeons electronic timer chip rings at a reasonable price?Depending on what homeland you're in and which system you're using (TIPES or tauRIS), Unikon, etc., you might want to phone some of the distributors. Since you called them rings, I'm presuming you're either in the U.K., Oz, or Canada - so you might fall short of to check.
