    Can You Use a 9v battery In an Alarm Clock?No, it won't, as you say, it is for back up to keep the sometimes current but it doesn't keep the clock functional. Get a battery operated travel alarm clock.

    how do i get alarm/radio clock work on9-volt battery?Is this the epitome that has an ac 120V house plug too?? If so, the battery is just to keep the memory settings for alarms from being erased. It isn't common to work on the 9V battery alone.

    Loud battery powered alarm clock...?I own an RCA alarm clock, archetype number RP3765A and it is highly reliable as far as a loud alarm. I have been using one for 3+ years, still continual fine.
